Built to be exactly right, not just quick
Every keepsake starts as one of your child's digital stories. You can perfect it with up to five revisions before you order, and every version is saved as you go, so if pass three turns out better than pass four, you can simply go back to it.
Everyone looks like themselves
Choose who appears in the pictures, up to eight people (and pets), all included. You'll see each person's storybook avatar before you order, and you can ask for a redraw, so there are no surprises.
Choose the look
Watercolour, recommended for most stories: soft, gentle and timeless, our signature style. Bold: brighter colours, stronger lines and lots of energy, often chosen for older children, whatever the story. Both cost the same. If you've had a book from us before, everyone will still be recognisably them, but painted in the new style, so if you're collecting a set, sticking to one look keeps your shelf matching.
A book built to be opened
Each keepsake is a 32-page hardback with ten full-page illustrations, each one painted for the moment in the story it sits beside. It has its own title, a dedication page for you to write yourself, so it opens with your own words, and a "This book belongs to" page for your child to sign in their very best writing. On the back, a short summary of the adventure inside, just like any book on the shelf.
Checked by a person, every time
Once you order, we paint every page, then one of our team checks the whole book, page by page, before it goes to print. When it's ready, we add it to your story library so you can read it straight away, and email you to say it's printing. Most books arrive within 2 weeks of your order, and we'll always give you a target date and try to beat it.
Before you send it off
A personalised book can't be cancelled once you've ordered, so it's worth reading the story through carefully first, which is exactly why we let you refine it as much as you like beforehand. If a picture doesn't match the details you approved, or your book arrives damaged or with a printing fault, we'll put it right.
The very last page is a little time capsule: when the story was made, how old they were, what they couldn't stop talking about and what they were always saying. Because the whole book is built from exactly who they are right now, in ten years this is exactly who they were, right then.
